Here goes nothing

So I’ve decided to keep a blog to document all of the monumental changes that will be taking place at my school in the school year to come.  I’m excited to see what will happen, and believe that it will be something great. I will do my best to update every day, or at least on some sort of regular schedule. Every day is easy to say during the summer months.  Many factors have brought our school to the point where we are, which I’ll delve into from time to time to give all of this some context, but I really want this blog to be about current successes, challenges, not complaints about the past. So with that-goodnite. Happy 4th of July weekend.

For the record- I am a history teacher, not an English teacher so forgive me ahead of time if I don’t use proper tense/words/punctuation (more from laziness than ignorance) but still 🙂

  1. Hi! Sounds like you have a lot of pretty great stuff going on in your professional life right now! I wanted to let you know about a good resource for teachers that you might like to share with your colleagues. It’s a new website called Quiz Infinity, and it was developed by a team of parents and educators in my area. It’s a free website that allows teachers to create tests from a bank of items and questions, as well as contribute ideas to the bank. It has been used in our school systems and seems to be a time-saver for most teachers and tutors! I’m an elementary school teacher who is “on a break” while my kids are little, but I plan to go back and think this is a really good resource!

Best wishes to you for a very successful year!
